The tool is free

ViewMarkdown is free to use for personal and commercial work. There is no account, no payment and no limit on how many documents you convert.

Provided as is

The tool is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it is available, error free, or that every conversion is perfect for your purpose. Check important documents before you send them, and keep your own copy of anything you care about. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.

Your content is yours

You keep every right to the text you paste and the files you export. Because nothing is uploaded, we never receive a copy and claim no licence to it. You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you convert.

Fair use

Do not use the site to break the law, to infringe someone else’s rights, or to attack the service, for example by automated scraping or by trying to disrupt it for other people.
